Pursuant to Article 33 of the GPA in the event of a breach of personal data, the Controller shall promptly notify, if possible, within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach of personal data to the supervisory authority. When notification to the supervisory authority is not made within 72 hours, it shall be accompanied by a justification for the delay.
Then, according to the more specific provisions of Law 4624/2019 when the Subject of Personal Data considers that the processing of personal data concerning it violates the provisions of the General Regulation or the above law, has the right to assign by special written authorization to lodge a complaint in his own name with the supervisory authority of the Member State in which he has his habitual residence, place of work or place of alleged infringement.
